Tournament field full!

It didn’t take long after the phase 2 opening when all the available spots were gone. Currently there are 121 registered players, 113 in MPO division and 8 in FPO division. The most noteworthy new player on the players list is Jeremy Koling, who will further strengthen the already formidable pack of US players on the field.

First 27 players who registered when the phase 2 opened received a spot in the tournament. The rest 23 phase 2 registrants have been placed on the waiting list. Some spots will likely become available on April 2nd, when the quotas expire. The FPO quota takes up 4 spots, as well as Japan players quota. Other ways to get a spot in the tournament are wild cards (10 spots) and the qualifying tournament (5 spots). Stay tuned for more information about wild cards and the qualifying tournament!
